Summer Wrap-up Part 2

OK time for Wrap-Up Part 2!!

I'll start with birthdays :) We celebrated cousin's 30th bday in July!!

My friend Sarah also turned 30 in July :) We celebrated with her and a bunch of other friends up in the Champlain Islands...

Meg had a birthday in July too!! The big 2-8 for her :) We went to dinner in Burlington to celebrate :)

Our friend Andy had a 30th bday this summer as well. His wife Katie planned a party for him on the lake...

We did a few dinners out....

Veritas with Mom, Meg, Matt, Cousin, Aunt Char, and G!

Dinner in Waterbury with friends - Grant met his friend Jackson for the first time!

When John was here we went blueberry picking...

We went to an outdoor concert at Battery Park...

Visited Simon Pearce...

And did some boat riding :) Sigh...it was a summer of tankinis for me. I really felt like a mom. Ha!

Matt competed in his first triathalon this summer! He did a great job and loved it! It made him start talking about an Ironman...trouble.

We spent more time at the lake of course :)

Jenna visited!

Matt and I had our 4th Anniversary dinner at the end of July at Shelburne Farms...Bubbie babysat for us :)

Grant had fun doing a bunch of other things...

WOW - almost caught up! Back with more from our trip to VA...I'm trying to get everything caught up before I go back to work next week. Wish me luck.

Summer Wrap-up

OK! Try number 2. I spent about 30 mins putting together a wrap-up post of our summer fun last night which I assumed was saving itself along the way and then a storm caused our power to go out :( Guess what? It wasn't saving itself. Lesson learned.

We just returned from a super fun trip to VA where Grant had an awesome time seeing grandparents and meeting friends...I'll share pics from that when I get to it.

Let's see. I think I'll just post highlights from about half the summer here - it's way too overwhelming otherwise!

Way back at the end of June Grant had his first outing....to Skinny Pancake with Aunt Meg:)

He then had his first public outdoor diaper change.

Followed by his first ever visit to TJ Maxx.

We spent lots of time at the lake....

While Mom and Meg were busy hanging out with G...(don't forget...Matt had to work but not me...ahhh maternity leave is the best).

I did some of this.

G went to his fist 4th of July celebration at Long Point.

It wore him out :)

Helping with the laundry was exhausting as well.

But he was thrilled with his first trip antiquing!

Matt's parents visited and we went wine tasting...

We hung out in the backyard.

G slept and slept and slept!

We went to girls' night at Charlotte beach.

Once I was allowed to exercise we started hiking Philo again :) So awesome!

When G was about 8 weeks old we also hiked Stowe Pinnacle...

Whew - that's all for now! Back with Matt's first triathalon, 30th birthday celebrations, and more!
