OK - I'm back! Things are busy around here...I'm working away on the nursery and will share pics soon. My mom is coming up this week and bringing lots of nursery items so it will be much closer after this! Also, Matt's parents were here this past weekend so we were busy spending time with them. I'll share pics a few pics from our weekend too at some point!
On Saturday, we spent the day sitting by this amazing pool :)
Matt texted to let me know it was snowing in VT - so I send him this pic!
Saturday evening my sweet girlfriends threw a little "sprinkle" for Baby T. A smaller version of a shower - how creative :) They also made yummy treats that all had some sort of sprinkle decoration.
They had champagne to celebrate - I even had my own 1/8th of a glass :)
The girls came up with an "On the Go" theme for baby T's gifts. So generous! They had a big gift shipped to my house in VT - a big thank you to those girls that weren't there as well who contributed to that! They also gifted some other on the go items. There were 2 new mamas there that were very knowledgeable about things we will need while out and about :)
I'm wearing another fun mama gift in the pics above :) Chew beads! Have you ever heard of them? Look them up - they're great!
We had another photo session Saturday night of course....I'll just photo dump below...
Look familiar?
Lizzie's Baby T love :)
A group shot...
A not so serious group shot...
A different setting...
Group girl love for baby T! I'm so lucky to have such amazing friends :) Baby T is going to be one loved little guy/girl!
After another amazing sunset, we headed out to dinner.
Sorry for the iphone pic. Thanks to Cabba for sending it :) Yum for seafood!
On Sunday we had to go home - it was so sad. It was an amazing trip and I'm so glad we had the time to get together. I miss you girls! Thank you SO much for your sweet and generous celebration of baby T!

St. Simon's Girls Trip!
I'm actually going to start with the weekend before my fun girls trip because Meg was in town! She came for a Dartmouth admitted students weekend - I still can't believe she will be up here for good soon! Meg wasn't able to spend too much time in VT with all her new student socializing but we did take a few pics when we went shopping downtown...
It's growing...
Meg will be back in just 2 weekends for my baby shower - lucky me :)
OK - on to St. Simon's....
I have an amazing group of girlfriends from college and the 9 or so of us try to get together as often as we can. We all met last July in DC to celebrate the 3 babies that were due to arrive in the fall. I can't believe those babies are about 7 months old now!!! At that time, we decided to plan another trip for April - my requirement was that it be somewhere warm so we settled on St. Simon's Island where we had a place to stay! I'm so glad we planned it ahead of time so that most of us could make it. We missed you Sarah, Isabel, and Elizabeth!
I flew down on Thursday and arrived in Jacksonville a few hours ahead of everyone else. I took the time to drive the 20 minutes up to Amelia island and visit the beach.
You can drive on the beach there!
The downtown where I ate lunch and did some shopping was so cute!
After lunch I spent a little bit of time on the quiet part of the beach...I didn't stay long...my outfit was WAY too hot for the 80+ weather :)
If I lean over I can still see my feet...
When Cabba and Lizzie arrived, I picked them up in our awesome rental car and we headed to the house!
Ah. It was amazing.
The first night Lizzie, Cabba, and I stayed up waiting for the other girls to get in...We had an amazing sunset every night!
Friday we were super spoiled and spent the day at the Sea Island beach club.
I have a pic of a big pregnant belly in a tankini but I'm going to spare you that :) I think I scared the people on the beach enough!
Friday night we ate at home....and had our first photo shoot :) No group shot Friday night...we saved the timer action for Saturday.
I was feeling tan after a day on the beach but you sure can't tell in these pics. Oh well. At least it's still only 60 degree here in VT.
Lizzie perfected this pose by the end of the weekend...not a bad spot to practice.
I think this dress hides the bump a bit - it wasn't intentional! Thanks to my mom for sending me this from Target. Oh, Target. I miss it even more now that the only places I have to shop are Motherhood Maternity and expensive baby boutiques.
Hm. You don't want to know what happened to this poor alligator the following night. I'll just say he did lots of swimming...
OK back with more later!

Baby Bump Weeks 28-30
Hello third trimester! The bump is growing! I'm at 32 weeks now and it's hard to believe that there are only 8 weeks left!
So lots of pregnant women complain about unwelcome belly touching by this point in pregnancy but I haven't had much of that! It doesn't bother me at all and to be honest I would rather have that than some of the belly comments I've received. I've also gotten some funny ones too - here you go:
Man at Lowe's:
"Well don't you look just like you swallowed a basketball!"
Woman at gas station in Maine:
"When are you due?" "Oh really? 11 more weeks? You look like you could go ANY day!"
Other hotel guests in Maine (strangers, not guests I had met previously):
"Well how are YOU feeling?"
Co-workers:
"YOU must be getting ready!" "When are you due again?"
Kiddos at school:
"Do you have a baby in your belly?"
"Are you pregnant?"
(To friend) "Hey! It looks like Miss Chelsea might have a egg in her belly but there's really a baby in there."
"What's that in your belly?"
My favorite......"Can I see it?"
Happy Friday!

Hiking
Hello friends...I owe you nursery pics and pics from my most recent trip down South but am still recovering from getting in late on Sunday and can't fit in editing pics with working (and birth class...more to come on that) this week! I promise those posts are coming soon. I've had this post written for a while. It doesn't look like it here (these pics were taken a while ago) but it's FINALLY spring in VT! The trees are starting to bloom and the grass is green. It has been pretty dry this mud season (unlike last year) so we've been doing more spring hiking this year. I thought I'd share these pics while you wait!
Mt. Philo a few weeks ago (when the temps were in the 80s!)....

Snake Mountain - a little colder this day....

Family pic :)

One more that isn't hiking but doesn't fit anywhere else....

OK be back soon!
